Fire-Ed Up was designed to build resilience in young people by providing opportunities to increase bushfire knowledge and improve wellbeing. From a community development perspective, Fire-Ed Up continues to prepare students, their families, and the wider community for the very real risk of bushfires and other emergencies.
The presenter of this Webinar is Jen East, Community Education Officer at Central Coast Council. Jen and the Central Coast Council team were awarded in the Community Development (population over 150,000) category at the 2023 Local Government Professionals Australia for the Fire-Ed Up Program.
