Finance in Local Government Intensive

Covering all aspects of local government finance this one week intensive residential program will benefit new finance managers, senior accountants and accounting officers or anyone with a financial background wishing to expand their knowledge of local government finance.

The course will be presented by professionals from within the industry who are recognised specialists in their field and provide your staff with vital industry knowledge and guidance to progress their career. Ideally participants will have attained a formal undergraduate qualification in an accounting related discipline or have the equivalent in prior learning.

Our Local Government One Week Intensive Residential Programs have been developed to enhance your knowledge and skills working in various functions of council. They are designed to be practical with presenters sharing their knowledge and insight to advance productivity, skill and professional development. An additional benefit from successfully completing two Intensive programs, Charles Sturt University is offers students credit towards the Graduate Certificate in Community Leadership and Resilience (8 credit points), or any other eligible Postgraduate Business Course offered with Charles Sturt University (up to 8 credit points assessed on application).
