The Tweed Emergency Dashboard is an online communication tool that consolidates and shares information from emergency agencies and Council services in real-time to build community resilience to emergencies and natural disasters.
The Dashboard can be accessed on any device with an internet connection, at any time of the day or night. It connects users to weather warnings, road closures, power outages, water and sewer interruptions, and Council services and facilities updates, along with links to many other useful resources to help with planning for an emergency and what to do after.
The Tweed Emergency Dashboard was launched in December 2018 in response to the devastating floods that hit the Tweed in March 2017. It has since been a critical community resource for flood, bushfire, drought and now COVID-19 information. We are really proud of the tool and how Council has responded to the community concerns with this tool.

Tiffany Stodart is the Manager of Communications and Customer Experience at Tweed Shire Council. Her teams purpose is to inform, educate, engage and provide quality customer experiences to the Tweed community and Council employees so they get the most out of Council services.
The team of 36 talented employees deliver the functions of customer service, communications and marketing, media and social, community engagement and digital and design.
The team is responsible for our front-line customer services to 94,000 residents, managing more than 25 communication and customer channels and providing in-house communication and customer support to more than 50 Council services.
