Expansion and Rebranding of Children’s Services

Next up in our series of LG Excellence award winning webinars is Port Stephens Council - Expansion and Rebranding of Children’s Services.

Port Stephens Council is committed to provide, in the best way possible, services that the community needs and values. The Children’s Services team used Council’s Service Review process to build on previous success and adapt new strategies to ensure ongoing sustainability. These decisions resulted in a large expansion in service over a broad geographic area. Four Outside School Hours Services became eight, and 39 Family Day Care Educators became 65. Collectively the services were rebranded as Thrive Kids. Thrive Kids is about creating opportunities for children to thrive in their community and the brand is readily recognised as a provider of quality care.
