Caitlin Flint is the Manager Governance and Risk at Yass Valley Council and Deputy Mayor of Goulburn Mulwaree Council. With over 10 years of experience in local government across Regional NSW, Caitlin has held a diverse range of roles spanning Customer Service, Compliance and Enforcement, and Governance, Legal and Risk. Her broad experience enables her to bring a well-rounded perspective and deep insight into governance practice and local government operations at all levels. Caitlin holds a Bachelor of Nursing and Paramedicine. She began her career in healthcare, working in Intensive Care at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick, before discovering her passion for local government—where she’s never looked back. Caitlin is an active member of the Governance Executive Committee and a lecturer at the annual Governance Intensive Course, where she shares her expertise with the next generation of governance professionals.
