When we feel motivated we have more energy, are move driven to succeed and even our cognitive ability seems faster. It’s only natural then, that we would want a team of people who are motivated. People can be inspired by events or other people, but we are all motivated internally. When we think to ask people ‘what motivates you?’, we are often met with generic, ordinary or untrue sentences that people think they should say, but might not resonate in a meaningful way. Understanding the breadth of ways that people can be motivated, gives leaders options to discover the real reason that motivate people.

Key content

  • Intrinsic and extrinsic motivation: how they differ, and exploring both in the workplace.

  • Senses that motivate: internal senses that are  essential to feel motivated.
