Building High Performance Teams

Your people are the most valuable and expensive asset you have. Hoping that they will perform well, while business and customer needs shift around them, can create an ordinary or underperforming team culture. To develop a high performing team we need to understand the elements that need to be present, so that people can perform at their best and thrive in their role. Whether you are leading remote team members, part time staff or newly combined teams, this course will help participants clarify behavioural expectations and identify key skills for performance improvement.

Key content

  • Articulating what high performance look like: what are the key measurements, drilling down to articulate how to achieve success.
  • Understanding expectations and consequences: for both good and bad performance. Understanding behavioural expectations.
  • Team environment: creating an environment for a high performing team.
  • Motivation: understanding what needs to be present for people to feel motivated to perform at their best.
  • Leading with integrity: leading from the front, demonstrating commitment to the success plan.
