Great things happen when women get together


In 2017 we're hosting our LG Women in Leadership Lunch series. Designed around professional development and networking, each month we will be holding a lunch in a different location around the state, which will include an inspirational guest speaker followed by a professional development workshop.

FEBRUARY LUNCH AGENDA | 28 FEB 2017

Our keynote speaker will be Sarah Taylor, Shoalhaven City Council’s Library Services Unit Manager. Sarah is leading a significant change program across our Libraries which will revolutionise the way people interact with Libraries in the Shoalhaven. She will share her thoughts on her achievements so far, as well as her vision for the future.

  1.00pm Maddocks Diversity Program Representative presentation: A representative from the Maddocks Diversity Committee to touch on the history and reasons behind their diversity program and the successful outcomes it has achieved.
  2.00pm Professional Development Workshop: The session, led by Gavin Carnegie, our new Learning and Development Manager, is titled 'Styles for Managing Conflict'. We will address understanding the the different ways we deal with conflict, their appropriate usage and what drives the behavior to further develop your leadership style and qualities.
